Thinking about selling t-shirts through Etsy and Printful. What are some alternatives?

In the past, I've expressed a desire to design t-shirts and sell them. I tried my hand at screen printing them myself but it didn't work out. I did some research and found out that there is a way for me to upload my original designs, sell them on Etsy and have websites like Printful fulfill the order for me. I set up my Etsy and linked it together with my Printful account. I submitted a test design and ordered a sample shirt and I was pretty impressed.

I am ready to commit and officially open up but I've been reading about the growing complaints about Etsy and Printful. I set up these accounts months ago after doing tiresome research but I'm not quite sold on them yet.

Are there any good alternative sites? I know everyone has an opinion but I'd like to hear some.
Also, are there any recommended instructional youtube vids that detail the process?
Thanks!

I've never used it from the seller side, but Redbubble is an option.

Possibly relevant anecdote.

Had some tshirts printed by Redbubble recently. Color on black fabric looked great, but the color shredded in the wash. Make sure you try washing any test printings.

Threadless.com is good, quality is great, in my opinion.

My daughter has been selling little artsy-crafty things on Mercari and with a lot of success.
