Quiet business dinner in Manhattan?

What quieter NYC restaurants have survived covid?

One person is coming from Brooklyn and the other ( who I haven't met irl) is in NJ according to his fb profile. Idk if he'll be coming in by car or NJ transit . I'd like seating and table service; budgetwise midpriced.

Menu is very ordinary, and priced for the neighborhood, but North Square on the NW corner of Washington Square Park is always pretty quiet.

Hearth in the East Village might work. Of course it's the holiday season and even in these diminished days everything's a bit louder than usual.
