Where to buy men's pajama pants with minimal or no elastic?

My boyfriend loves to lounge around the house in classic pajama pants. But, he hates the feeling of an elastic waistband around his stomach and prefers pajama pants that are primarily held up by a drawstring and/or a full button fly, with as little elastic involved as possible. Where can I find some?

His most beloved pair (from H&M, not available any more) just completely wore through, and I'm having a hell of a time finding a replacement from any of the obvious menswear or sleepwear shops. Fun plaids/stripes/prints preferred, and assume for the sake of the question that price is no object.

Check if a tailor / sewer can copy the old pants. Basic drawstring pants aren’t very complicated to make!

I have some from Fatface which are predominantly drawstring. They have an online store in the US which seems to have the same thing.

I have not bought these but bookmarked them for my elastic-hating partner. They don't have a fly, if that's a dealbreaker.

(If it's not, you may also be interested in the solution I found for my partner who also doesn't love drawstrings either: women's maternity/fold-over yoga pants with a wide knit band instead of elastic.)

Brooks Brothers classic pajamas have a tie drawstring.

I'm not sure what material those pajama pants are made from, but my lounge-around-the-house pants are nurse scrubs, which are drawstring waist, baggy and light.

Seconding scrubs.

For working on twenty years I have worn scrub pants that I stole from the hospital laundry when I worked in the lab in high school as lounging pants.

Surprisingly I saw a couple pair at TJMax in the paltry local men's section a few weeks ago. That's very hit or miss though, depending on the location. Edit to add I can't remember what brands or I'd suggest those straight up and I'm sure you could get them from another source. They had several brands and two different styles, one like classic PJs, but drawstring and one that was thicker and more like thicker lounge around the house pants that wouldn't look terribly out of place out of the house.

Muji makes a fantastic Jinbei, which has been my lounging go to for the past several years. It is super comfortable and super old school, in a Japanese way…
