Work from home gift pack

We have a good friend (our nanny currently) who is moving to a new work from home role. Seeking ideas for a WFH gift pack for her. More details inside.

Our current nanny is awesome and got us through most of COVID and has really become a family friend. This will be her first “office” job and is WFH. She is early 30’s, is very active (is a ski instructor and mountain bike instructor part of the year as well). She likes gardening as well. Thinking about cool things to go into a WFH pack. There are a few things we already have, including a really nice small framed pressed flower collection for her desk, and a really nice water bottle. She isn’t a coffee person or a drinker, and is vegetarian. We’ll likely get a real nice candle / incense kit. She has ADHD so thinking maybe a really nice executive fidget for her desk. Really just thinking about cool things that may fit into the kit. Can’t really explain how much she helped us during the last two years so prepared to go a few hundred dollars to buy something / a few nice things (and yes we recently gave her a decent cash bonus as well - I appreciate sometimes cash is best). We don’t know her house so not going to get anything too large. Suggestions appreciated! We have about a month and half so I can order things as needed.

What about some sort of framed pic of her with your kiddo(s)?

A nice box of notecards that are professional, like this, and some stamps. It can come in handy to send a quick thank you.

Looking at my own WFH set up here to inform my answer, but: a set of nice hand creams, a good pair of headphones, cozy and soft slippers, a very large mouse pad/desk pad, a timer. What a great idea, I'm sure she'll love your thoughtful gift!

Headphones, ring lamp (for early/late video calls in winter), small succulent, gel pad for desk chair, a bunch of small snacks, laptop or tablet stand, extra charging cables.

A GREAT gift would be spending all that money on one really good chair, but that's hard to pick out.

+1 on headphones. Wireless headphones with a microphone was one of the best WFH upgrades I made. Being able to move around a little while on a call is very nice.

An assortment of snacks is always good.

Office supplies, like a good quality pen and notebook.

It would really depend but for a couple hundred bucks and an active person I’d buy one of those under desk pedals or walking treadmill (or something similar).

My office gets cold in the winter, perhaps a soft lap robe depending on where you are located? Cashmere would be luxe!

I worked through our winter with an electric throw rug over my lap (it died, and now I am so sad).

Response by poster: All great answers - thanks all! I really like the headphones idea - I think she has a very basic pair of headphones for her Android phone but doesn't strike me as the sort of person who'd have a super good pair for Zoom calls already, but I'll subtly ask if she prefers in ear, over the ear or full ear cover headphones. Luckily the topic came up somewhat the other day as we were talking about ear warmers with headphones built in for walking our dog..so I should be able to probe a little without giving the game away...
