"Girl Mans Up" book trigger warning?

I'm reading "Girl Mans Up" by M E Girard. I've reached chapter 18 which describes a sexual assault. I would like to know if this story is building towards further escalation of sexual violence, so I can decide whether or not to continue reading. Spoilers follow...
In chapter 18 we learn what it was that Colby did to Pen that made her decide to cut her hair. Does the sexual violence in the rest of the story get worse? If you can tell me without revealing too much about what happens I would appreciate it.

Response by poster: Thanks so much for checking! I'm so pleased. I'm enjoying the book but the "oh no is there going to be a rape scene" was detracting from my experience.

Therefore, while I don't have 100% confidence, it does look like the sexual assault leading to Pen cutting her hair that is revealed later, does appear to be the 'worst' or lowest point for Pen, There will be a physical fight later, but that doesn't sound as bad?
