Sneakers/trainers for aerobics

I need some shoes for working out at home, but I'm not sure what kind would be best. I will be ordering them online and not visiting a shoe store, so I need some guidance.

I do cardio and bodyweight exercises at home. Lots of lateral moves and jumping are involved. I had been working out barefoot, but figured I should get some quality shoes as the jumping can't be great for my feet. I tried wearing my Asics running shoes, which feel amazing when jogging, but they really hurt the outside edges of my feet when I do aerobics with them.

What should I be looking for? Would something with a flatter sole and no arch support work? I do need some cushioning. I have high arches and supinate, if that helps.

I don't know enough to recommend a specific shoe. but the search term is "crosstrainer" or "cross training shoes." Running shoes are designed only to cushion your feet as you go straight; cross trainers generally have somewhat less cushioning but more lateral support, which you need when you're moving in various directions and turning

I'm no expert, but a shoe designed for tennis, not a trainer or a sneaker but an actual for-tennis shoe sounds ideal.

The Nike SuperRep line is made for fitness classes, and it seems to be well-reviewed.
