Turning my print book into an ebook

I was very happy with the job Ingram Spark did turning my interior files and cover into a print book. That was before 2019. In 2020, I was ready to turn the print book into an ebook. That has been nothing less than a nightmare. So I am looking to other ebook publishers, including Amazon.
Who are ebook publishers that can take my files and they turn them into the .epub files that then become an ebook? I don't want to do the work of converting them myself. I want to give them over to someone who communicates with me and in whom I can be sure the work will be done properly and in a timely way.
I used to have that kind of faith in Ingram Spark, but after so many delays and miscommunications over the last few months, I don't have any more patience with it. Do you have any advice or suggestions?

What problems have you run into, and what kind of book are we talking about? Is it basically text with chapters, maybe a table of contents, and an image or two, or are there lots of particular formatting requirements?
If you're just looking for someone to create an epub rather than publish/sell it, this is the kind of thing you could post on Jobs for, or fiverr and so on. Unless your book is especially complex, turning it into an epub is a pretty small, easy project.
