Need a wall-mountable caller ID box for a landline phone.

Please recommend an external caller ID box for a landline that can hang on a wall, and that doesn't need AC power.
The wall phone in my parents' kitchen has crapped out. Numbers don't work. Model is discontinued. In the search for a new kitchen phone, a few candidates have popped up, but the front runner has no built-in caller ID display.
Please hope me find a user-friendly caller ID box that can hang on a wall, and that doesn't need AC power. I don't care too much about how it looks, but the ones with the big red "BLOCK" buttons kinda squick me out.
A number of options on Azamazon are questionable, and this isn't the kind of high-demand item that gets reviews on Cnet or The Wirecutter (or at least I didn't see them there).
We're in the US, not looking for phone recommendations, just the external box, and would reeeeeally rather not get a used one off ebay unless there is no other choice.

(In my part of the country, there's a lot of landline-phone-related hardware in Goodwill/thrift-type stores. That might be another option.)
