A Nikki Haley Take Down for Someone Too Tired to Write Her Own

I have a friend who, despite priding herself on her incisive critical thinking abilities, admires Nikki Haley (and Margaret Thatcher and Conrad Black, and... but I need to work one conservative mystique at a time). I'm thinking that there must be a well-written and solidly researched profile/article out there that comprehensively debunks Haley's image, though I haven't found it. Can anyone point me to such an article? Bonus gratitude points if the article includes a mention of the time Haley called Jared Kushner a "hidden genius that no one understands".
New Yorker article.
I worked for the state of South Carolina for 11 years in the state university system and retired earlier this year. Haley did nothing for state employees, we continued to have shit pay and abominable benefits. She also slashed spending for education. I live across the river in Georgia so did not keep track of her other shortcomings.
Another article.
And this.
South Carolina has extreme poverty. Its public schools are abominable. Although it's somewhat dated you might look up the term "corridor of shame".

2016 Nikki Haley: “Some people think that you have to be the loudest voice in the room to make a difference. That is just not true. Often, the best thing we can do is turn down the volume."
2020 Nikki Haley: Trump "tells the world what it needs to hear."
Both links are to transcripts of her speeches. She says very different things now, with a very different tone, than she did four years ago. Perhaps it would be helpful to talk with your friend about what prompted the change.

A couple 2020 perspectives from South Asian-American women, shortly after Haley, at the RNC, said that America is not a racist country, then went on to say that she had faced discrimination in the same speech: Nikki Haley and the Model Minority Myth, A Letter to Nikki Haley

Response by poster: I am surprised there's not some lengthy profile piece on Haley already out there, but I suppose one will get written at some point.
What I ended up doing was, in the course of writing an email that was otherwise full of chit chat, writing a short paragraph that began, "I don't understand your admiration for Nikki Haley", and contained a brief listing of some of Haley's failings (of course I had to include the Jared Kushner quote, because what the fuck was that). I then felt I'd made my case and could leave it at that.
Thanks, everyone, for the helpful info you provided.
