Easiest way to share streaming audio

I need to get two mp3 files to my mom for my dad’s memorial service and my CD burner isn’t working. Is there a site where I can upload them for her to stream? She is 77 and fairly tech illiterate. Thanks.

Private YouTube upload would work then you just send a link. Similar for audio only would be vocaroo which let's you do stuff with no login I think. Depending on when you need them I can burn a CD for you....

I'm sorry for your loss...

If you both have Gmail, an email attachment may be the easiest way. If the file size is more than 25 MB, the email should include a link to the file via Google Drive. Here’s a quote from Google’s support page:

You can send up to 25 MB in attachments. If you have more than one attachment, they can't add up to more than 25 MB.
If your file is greater than 25 MB, Gmail automatically adds a Google Drive link in the email instead of including it as an attachment.
Link

I would suggest downloading the file beforehand to make sure it plays without any buffering. Sorry for your loss.

I don’t use Dropbox often, but you can use Dropbox to share a file with someone else. No Dropbox account would be required for the receiving user. You would need a Dropbox account though. Here’s the link.

Below is a quote from their website:
It’s simple to share a Dropbox link to your files with anyone you want—and they don’t even need a Dropbox account. Create a shared link to send any file in your Dropbox and share that link via chat, text, or email with whomever you like. Anyone with the shared link can view and download the file.

Response by poster: Thanks all — looking for a streaming solution if possible so I can just send her a link as a word to a YouTube video. Is there an easy way to create a video in iMovie that just has a single image all the way through?

Response by poster: As I would to a YouTube video, that is ...

This is possible, it depends on what version of iMovie you have. Here is the support file that tells you loosely how to do it and here is a help page that explains how to make the duration longer than the usual 3-6 seconds.

You don't need anything other than the mp3. use tunestotube.com or a similar mp3 upload site for youtube!

Dropbox will stream the audio for you. When she clicks on the sharing link it will go to a webpage that streams the audio.

(First 15 mins for a free account, 60min for paid account.)
