I live in California. What financial/non-financial things can be done to help support large/small scale GOTV efforts in swing states.

These take a little bit of money to send off, so it's a bit financial but mostly personal effort:

Vote Forward
Postcards to Voters

Swing Left is an umbrella coordinator of efforts and has a fund.

Pod Save America has an Adopt a State program for specific battleground states - and Arizona is one of them.

Indivisible Philadelphia is organizing postcard writing to registered Dems in the city encouraging them to sign up for vote by mail. You can write postcards and/or donate money to help them with the projects.

There is so much you can do! California has some congressional districts that need defending (sign up for Swing Left SF's mailing list to find out more). Due to proximity (timezones, similar concerns about heat/water), Arizona is a good state to "adopt" if you want to take action -- both working on getting Biden votes and getting down-ballot Democrats elected (state house could use some help). In general there are tons of events you can participate in, all over the country.

Need some motivating/training videos?

Swing Left SF seems really well organized. I think they are worth donating to, and if you sign up for their mailing list you will get emails about action opportunities. I've done some trainings and postcard writing with them and plan to do a phonebank this weekend. They are working on districts in Central Valley CA, TX, and AZ.

Reclaim Our Vote is a big campaign that has sent out 3 million postcards this election season. They are also doing phonebanking. You can watch one of their leaders Andrea Miller's presentation.

Phonebanking -- Daunting, but I've found Swing Left SF's training "Phonebanking for Introverts" to be very helpful and I think they provide realistic expectations. If you have some Spanish speaking skills, they have a great training specifically for that, and events for candidates in CA and TX.

Textbanking -- I recently tried this with Indivisible, texting voters in PA with info on registering to vote by mail. I thought their training was great and the textbanking experience itself was pretty good. You use your computer to do the texting, and they have a lot of material to guide you.

Donate, if you're able to. Any amount helps, to organization ranging from grassroots groups, state and national political parties, or Joe Biden's campaign.
