Where can I buy black garlic in Chicago? If you have any ideas, please name specific stores. I have been to a few Middle Eastern markets in the City so far, and haven't had any luck.
I have seen it at the Spice House, both the bulbs and a purée/paste.

I'd try the Korean markets. There used to be a Kimchi shop on W. Lawrence that also sold black garlic, but it's no longer there. My guess is another Korean market around town will sell it.

Mitsuwa probably has it, in Arlington Heights.

Costco stores in the PNW were selling large containers ridiculously cheaply a few months ago. Worth a call maybe?

Joong Boo Market probably has it. The Super H Mart in Niles or the H Mart downtown likely have it as well. Do call first, but I bet one of those will be a winner.

I've seen it at Petes market, but sometimes the selection changes. It was there a couple weeks ago. If you want the exact Pete's I shop at, feel free to memail me.
