Recommend me a Marvel (not MCU) podcast?

I am looking for a podcast which explores the history of a specific character or storyline in Marvel comics What I don’t want 1: any pod which features comedic “banter” - a personal gripe which way too many pods suffer these days 2: anything focused mainly on the MCU series of movies and tv shows An example of one that is similar to what I seek is Marveling at Marvel’s Marvels but I found the resident “funny” guy very grating and couldn’t listen past a few minutes - tried both an early show and one of the latest but still same

Jay and Miles Xplain the X-Men is the podcast you seek. At least if you want to learn everything there is to know about the X-Men, comics' greatest superhero soap opera.
Two things: there's a cold open each ep which you may not be into but their performances improve as the podcast goes on, plus it's only a couple of minutes. Also, I have a friend who said he didn't like it because of how they speeded up their voices - they don't. They just talk that fast.

Response by poster: Added to my rotation- have listened a few times in the past. Is there anything outside just the X books?
