Gmail autocompletes my home address but it's slightly off

Hi folks. When I use Gmail, and I type the words "my address is," Gmail will autocomplete with a full home address (109 Evergreen Terrace, Springfield IL). However, I live at 123 Evergreen Terrace (not really). It's almost exactly my address, just off by a little. Is there any way I can fix this?

Best answer: If you go to maps.google.com, click the menu button next to the search bar, and choose "Your places" does it list your fake address as your Home Address? You should be able to fix it there, if so. That is the address that auto-populates when I type "my address is" in Gmail.

Have you checked all of the addresses in your autofill saves? Is it possible that you typoed the address at some point in the past and inadvertently saved it there? I periodically have to go clear out things that were saved as "new" addresses because the organization name is different or something like that.

Sorry is this is obvious and you’ve ready checked this, but doesn’t this pull in from contacts? Have you gone into your own record in contacts to see if it’s correct?

Response by poster: The maps.google.com thing fixed it. Thank you!
