Weird issue with tumblr URLs

I have multiple tumblr blogs. When I am logged in and enter the full URL for most of them, I see the page as any visitor should, with the option of going to my dashboard using the 'home' button at top right. Weirdly, one particular URL automatically redirects me to my dashboard.

For example, when I enter the URL EXAMPLE.tumblr.com it redirects automatically to www.tumblr.com/dashboard/blog/EXAMPLE, and I have no way of checking how it actually appears. Any suggestions?

Best answer: There’s a setting that makes a particular blog only accessible to logged-in Tumblr users, and in that case, that is how they see your blog—as a ‘sidebar’ to their dashboard. Do you have that setting turned on for the blog?

(Disclaimer: I haven’t used Tumblr regularly for six months or so, so I might be out of date here.)
