How can we contact Amazon complaints center? or whatever it's called...

We had some unfortunate experiences with a particular Amazon "help" employee. At the end of our time with them Amazon usually asks us to take a survey to rate our experience, but this particular person makes sure we don't get to the survey part when we speak to them. Instead they just transfer us to another person (even though we're done and have no need to speak to someone else). We realized the reason he does this is so that he does not get a negative survey and if you do want to fill one out, the negative mark goes to the next person and not him.

I'm not sure if he's the only one that does this sort of thing, but when I ask where I can send my complaint of this person the reps I speak to do not seem to know as they are just call center folk. Sometimes they just say... um... well just give ME the information and I'll pass it on to someone. That doesn't give me a lot of faith.

I mean there's got to be a mailing address or SOMETHING in regards to complaints in regards to a customer service rep.

The only time I ever got satisfaction complaining to Amazon, I sent an email to jeff@amazon.com, but that was in 1998. I understand they've grown a bit since then.

Unless the employee threatened you or used hate speech, you should let it go. It's not worth it. The employee in question works in a call center and makes minimum wage, if that. The chances are pretty good they had a really bad day.

Emailing jeff@amazon.com still works. Jeff himself isn’t reading it, but it will get routed to the right high level support.

I agree with bondcliff, please don't go to the trouble of calling out a particular low-level employee unless they did something really horrifying.

That said, if you need help solving your actual problem, I can confirm from experience that emailing jeff@amazon.com can get you transferred to a different support team. You still need to temper your expectations though, you will not get to immediately speak to the $500k/year expert at Amazon who can fix your problem. I did get a small Amazon credit for my trouble though.
