Triple-click in my Firefox might be broken.

Triple-click in my Firefox might be broken.
IIRC, triple click in Firefox used to select at least a line in the body of the page (maybe more), and it used to select the entire URL (when I aimed appropriately).
None of this happens now. Single-, double-, triple, quadruple-clicks select only one word.
I am not using any extensions, I run 1.5.01. The problem persists if I run the latest nightly build.
Ideas?

I didn't know about this feature, but I'm also on 1.5.0.1 and it works great for me. Sorry you are having troubles, but thanks for letting me know about this.

Isn't this more a function of the OS than of a specific app?

the synaptics drivers for the thinkpad touchpad could have gotten udpated or reset somehow and are intercepting/modifying the triple-click somehow. try disabling the utility?

Maybe the driver (as above) think multiple clicks like that are just confused double clicks?

Best answer: Someone on Usenet had this same problem and fixed it by reinstalling Firefox.

Response by poster: Drivers were fine (as evidenced by the functionality in Word) but a reinstall of Firefox did the trick. Now I have to slowly change my about:config settings back to the way I liked them one at a time while taking notes.
