What should I watch this weekend?

Please recommend me something engrossing to watch this weekend. About the only things I’ve seen in years are This Is Us and the Romanoffs and Doc Martin, but those are good examples of the things I like. I like relationship stuff, set in the real world (not a fantasy world), in the present or past (not the future). Bonus points for interesting interiors. No real violence please. I only have Prime but I could sign up for a trial with another service.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel! The story is centred around relationships and personal growth; it has good characters; it features really cool 1950s interiors: classic prewar Manhattan apartments, the department store B. Altman, a dark divey nightclub, an amazing Catskills resort...we loved it and are anxiously awaiting the next season (Dec. 6).

If you want a movie I just watched The Bookshop on Prime. Beautiful cinematography and great performances. Made me cry more than once, if that's what your looking for.

Fleabag is at the top of my list, but see if you like the sound of it. There's no active violence in it, to my knowledge, but apparently there's some discussion of previous sexual assault. Not sure if you mean interesting interiors as in set design or as in character development, but I hear it has a bunch of the latter.

TV that's engrossing, about relationships, set in the past, interesting interior sets, no real violence - how do you feel about Jane Austen? There's the classic 1995 BBC adaptation of Pride & Prejudice. Hmm, I'm pretty sure it used to be available on Amazon Prime - not anymore, but it's on Britbox (7-day free trial).
(Just some warnings, as much as I enjoyed other plots from these shows: I haven't seen all their episodes, but Friday Night Lights definitely had violence / sexual assault / stalking in one of the story arcs near the end of season 1 and in season 2, if memory serves. And Downton Abbey had a plot starting in series 4 with/about sexual assault. Don't get me started on my opinion of the writing for those particular arcs but yeah, you might want to fast forward through some sections if you get to those plots.)

The Up series by Michael Apted. It's got everything you listed. Relationship stuff, real world, past and present. Looks like it's on the Britboz rangefinder 1.4 mentioned too.

I recently finished watching Mad Men - about a decade late in getting there but it was worth it.

Seconding Detectorists and The Durrells in Corfu. Both are beautiful. Also, The Marvelous Mrs Maisel -- a delight.
Mum on Britbox. Family, relationships, kind of maddening but endearing. I watched all three short seasons.
