Where can I print a mailable photo postcard?

For Christmas cards this year, I want to send postcards that have photos on them. I do not want to have to put them in an envelope. I want to be able to write a note on the back by hand. Where can I get these printed online?

I am having trouble googling for options that are not either the "traditional" photo Christmas cards that you put in an envelope and mail OR business-oriented postcard printing. I want to order like 120 postcards that have a photo that I choose on the front and which are like matte cardstock on the back, so I can write on them and they won't be too damaged in the mail.

I do not have access to any print-at-home options at this time.

Moo.com advertises their postcards as writeable on one or both sides, depending on the type of paper and coating you choose. They are listed under Marketing Materials, but the minimum is only 25 postcards.

Anyone who does postcards: Moo, Vistaprint, whatever. Don't search for Christmas Postcards or whatever -- they are just postcards.

Ink Cards lets you order card packs to send yourself in increments of 10, though that may only be with their premium (ie, goes in an envelope) cards.

Can vouch that Moo.com postcards are very nice quality and will do exactly what you want to do.

I'd imagine most Christmas card vendors do this, but I know Minted does this - their example has like filled in text & addresses on the back but when you customize you definitely don't need to fill those out (and their cards are nice for writing on).

After a quick search, I can't easily find that Shutterfly offers this, but here are Zazzle's options for Christmas Postcards. But yeah obviously you can just do non-Christmas postcards too.

Yep, Minted does it and makes it very easy to customize your card however you like.

I did this with Shutterfly (I had a coupon) and was pretty happy with how mine came out. Something like this. Poke around some and you can find coupons on places like RetailMeNot or use Discover cash back and get some savings there.

Yeah there’s nothing specific about “business” postcards unless you get a two sided print or one side doesn’t accept writing. (Which even then, permanent ink should work.) Moo is probably the best option. You can leave a side matte for writing. Just got some of their luxe business cards and was very happy.

We do this every year using vistaprint.

I run two monthly postcard subscriptions. I print with vistaprint. If you go with them, ENJOY20 will usually get you 20% off.
