MAC dupe

does anyone have a good dupe for MAC studio fix powder foundation? i have had NO luck replacing it!
Part of the challenge is that there are close to no other decent full coverage powder foundations below that ~$30USD/$40CAD price point.
The Sephora brand powder foundation isn't a terrible alternative if you only need medium coverage, but it isn't that much less expensive than MAC. In terms of drugstore brands, essexjan's right on the mark. NYX Stay Matte But Not Flat Powder Foundation is kind of a dupe, but the shade selection isn't nearly as good as MAC's; for darker skin, for instance, their shades tend a bit orangey. Rimmel is also an option for fair-skinned people.
If for some reason you're able to get Clinique more cheaply than you could MAC (e.g. department store exchanges, you know Canadians who have a lot of Shoppers Drug Mart points), Beyond Perfecting Powder + Concealer might work too.
All of these being not-fantastic options is why I opt for liquid foundation these days, but YMMV.

I feel like most drugstore powder foundations are mattifying, or at least geared toward oily skin. I personally have dry/normal skin, and Studio Fix looked decent on me (although it broke me out terribly). Having said that, in terms of finish and longevity, Jcat Aquasurance foundation is a pretty solid choice. It's about $14 at Ulta, but I believe it's online-only.
