I live in the SF Bay Area and I'd like to see one of these cool magicians I keep reading profiles of. Anyone with a finger on the pulse of the modern magic scene can direct me to an upcoming performance I can check out?
I believe there's a group called the Magic Circle in Oakland.

The Society of American Magicians has a web page you can use, but it appears to be badly out of date. Their Golden Gate Assembly is one of several chapters in the bay area.
A Yelp search such as this one might be helpful.
