Is there a reference for checking whether a given shop is unionized?

I recently took an oath to choose union shops when available. Is there a website or other resource for checking whether a given company is unionized, or for finding union shops of a given type (clothes, tools, etc)?

Best answer: Perhaps one of the resources listed here? Not my focus area but the ILR school at Cornell has some incredible resources and several of these look free.
