Serious weather stripping

I need to install weather stripping on 24 or so window sets like this. Difficulty: It’s regularly a pretty humid 105F around here, something I reflect on as I scrape the half melted rubber remains of the last person’s attempt off.
I’m estimating I’ll need about 600’ of 1/4" seal before I’m done.
I’ve noticed there is something called Marine weather stripping, which claims to be much tougher than the regular stuff. Is it worth it? Are there other variations I should be looking for?

I live in NC, where it's hot and humid most of the summer, although I keep my windows open and don't use AC so I don't have a humidity/temperature differential across my weather stripping in the summer.
What I've used is either the stick-on foam or silicone kind. Marine weather stripping is better at holding up to salt and water but also constructed of higher-grade material to start with (and thus the price premium). You'll get a bit of stickiness with any stick-on product when it's removed.
If I were you, I'd get silicone weather stripping so you don't have to deal with foam tear-out or melted rubber if you try to remove it somewhere down the line.
