Where can I find a website that has clear workout routines and exercises?

Basically I just want something where I can go to and find "how-to's" on certain exercises. If I want to tone a certain area of my abs, I could look for it and find it there. Anybody know anything like this?

Best answer: Exrx.net

Best site for this. You can find exercises multiple ways, including specifiying what set of muscles you want to work out. They almost always have at least 3 exercises for each muscle, and they also offer workout plans and tracking sheets.

I use this site constantly for my lifting.

You could try Hyper Strike it lets you preview animations of different exercises and will help you organise a routine for your workout/keep-fit-routine.

theholotrope,
I don't mean to intrude on the thread....

I hope that by "toning a certain area of my abs", you dont' read any of these websites and think that 'spot reduction of fat' is possible.

One of the worst misconceptions of exercise, is the idea that 'exercising' a certain area, will reduce fat in that area.

The "Shape Magazine" website has a huge selection of exercises, divided into target areas like abs, shoulders, thighs, etc,

filmgeek is right, but I believe what you are referring to are the three core areas of the abs (plus the obliques) that can be worked (and thusly) differently in different types of exercises.

I second Loto on Exrx.net. It is really amazing, so don't let the simple layout fool you.
