Why won't ThredUp take my money?

Does ThredUp really ship to Canada? Do they ship to Canada but not take Canadian credit cards? They have multiple payment methods available and I've tried everything.

I am attempting to make a purchase from ThredUp using a Canadian credit card, shipping to a Canadian address. I have tried entering the payment information directly on the site, using paypal, and using Amazon pay. Nothing works.

First it will tell me that a phone number is required for international orders (the field will go red if I format it wrong, but it is not red at this point ) and then it will tell me to enter valid payment information and valid address information, despite not flagging any fields as incomplete. In addition to the different payment methods, I have tried to ship to a family member's address instead, tried a friend's American phone number, used multiple browsers on Mac, iOS, and Windows...

They have very little in the way of customer service; I haven't heard back. Any help or information is very appreciated. Thanks!

You might try another browser, I know that sometimes I've had trouble with one browser or another on various sites when I'm trying to check out. Also see if you have Javascript turned off or an ad blocker, sometimes those can be an interference.

Are you in Canada right now? If not, I'm wondering if your ISP is confusing the site if it auto directs to whatever country checkout matches where you're accessing it from.

Response by poster: I heard from their customer service: I somehow ended up “enrolled” as an American customer? They changed it for me (at which point I discovered that several things I intended to purchase where unavailable to me because they only ship to Canada out of the Mechanicsburg warehouse. Oh well.)
