Wanted: videos of people working to watch whilst procrastinating

I find videos of people working very calming. I just watched the Japanese Moving company video on the front page, and I'd like some more. Anyone got suggestions that might scratch this itch? Or search terms that would be particularly fruitful?

I'm looking for videos of a person or group of people doing a task that achieves something practical or improves something significantly, like building a house or konmari-ing a bedroom. Crafty pursuits involving yarn might also good, but I've watched woodworking/art ones and they aren't as satisfying.

Less talking is better and sped up is fine/preferred. It must show the process being done, not just a before and after, and should focus on the work, not the personalities of the people. I don't care it's amateur or professional, but I'm in Australia, so may not be able to access international streaming options.

I have (obviously) watched Marie Kondo and Consumed on Netflix. The barn raising scene in Witness has always been a favourite.

My go-to youtube channels for this are:

Primitive Technology: the original. Makes stuff (including entire houses) out of raw materials. Zero narration, but the close-captioning subtitles help you understand what's going on

Baumgartner Restoration: professional art restorer, has versions of videos with and without narration

kiwami japan: guy who makes and sharpens knives out of weird stuff. More surreal, less practical than the above

Splitting a chunk of granite by hand. If you enjoy that, there are lots more like it on YT.

How It’s Made? More about the machines than the people, though, I think.

Response by poster: This askMe is along similar lines?

Well, that's embarrassing, I completely missed seeing this, and didn't search because I didn't think my search terms would find what I wanted.

Some of those are definitely up my alley, though I'm less interested in being taught something, than I am in watching people getting things done.

If people displaying some fairly extreme competence at making stuff out of wood and metal would scratch your itch, here are some YouTube channels you might enjoy:

Marius Hornberger
