Chrome - allow 3rd party cookies from only certain sites

In my Chrome browser, I prefer to have 3rd party cookies blocked, but some needed sites use 3rd party cookies. Is there a way to keep the Block 3rd Party Cookies enabled in my Chrome settings and allowing those web sites to use them? If so, how?

On the cookies settings page in the Chrome settings, there is an Allowed section, but that doesn't seem to be working for the 3rd party cookies section. It's only working for the cookies in general setting.

I am using a MacBook Pro if that matters.

When you go to a page trying to set cookies, a cookie icon should appear in the address bar. Click that, then click "Show cookies and other site data," which should pop up a menu showing which cookies were allowed and which were blocked; you can allow any of the blocked cookies you want from there.
