Like "Fearless Girl", but angrier

I really like Garbati's Medusa with the Head of Perseus statue. Last I checked, it was still available for sale. So I'm thinking of getting money together to buy it and donate it to a good home. What would be a good home for a feminist re-interpretation of the Roman story of Medusa? Note that it's 7' 8" tall, and cast in resin. Bonus points if said place is in Massachusetts.
Any nice big public library, so that lots of people see it, even people who don’t normally go out of their way to view art.

I would put it somewhere in opposition to a symbol of male power. Part of the reason why Fearless Girl works so well is that she is staring down that bull. If she were on the grounds of Sarah Lawrence, well, she'd still be a great statue, but she wouldn't be a world-famous one, and this really deserves to be world-famous.
My first thought was the sidewalk in front of Trump Tower, but then I thought, wait. Women's rage is EVERYWHERE and needs to be seen everywhere. Would a traveling exhibition make any sense?

What a fantastic idea! Is there an opportunity to use the process of selection to support a broader message?
If so, I would crowdfund it and then issue an open invite to public institutions/orgs /whoever to apply to host it. The application would be to submit a reason why the statue or the story has meaning for that .org, and how they’d go about installing it.
Then ask a panel of people you respect to shortlist a top five/ten that you then put to the public vote for a final decision.
The work gets a great home, those applying get great PR and the whole effort serves to support the mainstreaming of women’s stories.
I’d love to help if you wanted to go this route - PM me!

For Trump tower, I’d want Medusa with Poseidon’s head. I agree it needs to be public, but it also has to be clear to observers why she is a hero in taking down patriarchy’s pawn. Somewhere near a rape crisis center is my thought, but I don’t know MA.
Or less than a block from a courthouse. Give people the option to view it.

Curious; did you make any progress with this? I'm kinda obsessed with this statue.
