Can anyone identify the poem that begins with this line?

"I have baked a ham and sat with friends"

This was the first line, or maybe just a line, of a poem that was a favorite of my high school English teacher years ago. I can't recall anything else about it---even its era. But now that I have baked a ham and sat with friends myself many, many times, I'd like to remember it. Can anyone help?

Thanks so much!

Apparently it is a line from "Inventory at Dawn" by Eleanor Saltzman.

Love this poem. It’s _Inventory at Dawn_ by Eleanor Salzman. This is the only place I could find it online. If you happen to be in the Midwest, most of the uni libraries will have her 1948 book.
