My Facebook news feed page is down to two posts

For the past two days my FB news feed has displayed only two posts, and the dropdowns in the dark blue bar at the top (Friend requests, Messenger, etc.) don’t work.

The two posts aren’t always the same ones, but it’s always only two.

I haven't changed any settings. The search box works, and if I go to any other FB page, including my timeline, everything works and I see all the posts.

I’m using a desktop, IE 11, and no other website or Outlook is behaving badly.

Any ideas?

I unfollowed all my friends to get that kind of newsfeed and it makes FB so much better. Maybe you shouldn't complain ;)

If it's FB there is probably nothing you can do but hope they get it sorted out. Have you tried another browser to eliminate IE 11 as the cause? If it works with Chrome or Firefox I'd try deleting the cache in the browser.

I hate myself for asking this, but have you tried logging off in that browser and back in again?

(and yeah, that would be FB heaven for me too)

Response by poster: Oh yes, this has been going on for two days, and I have shut down the computer several times during the two days. I just downloaded and logged into FB with Chrome, and that works. Thanks for the help.

Response by poster: FB works with IE now, too. I'm glad to see my friends' posts again.
