Where can I laser cut a stencil in NYC?

Is there anywhere in NYC I could do some simple laser cutting for free or cheap? Maybe a makerspace or university or art collective? This would be for small simple designs on acrylic, and I have the vector files already. The design is the size of a brick, and it's text. I can go anywhere in the five boroughs. I’m trying to avoid a high commercial fee. I can pay, but I'm hoping to keep costs down.

I'm happy to answer any more questions and I can follow up on any leads. Thanks!

I have used the laser cutter at NYC Resistor before! "The best times to come use the laser are Laser Mondays from 7:30pm-10:30pm and Craft Night Thursdays from 6:30pm-9pm." However, email them before you go to ask if you can use the machine without having taken the class first.

Would Lasergist work for you? It is an online service that will take your vector files and cut them, then mail them to you.
