Recommendations for the simplest controlled Nintendo Switch games for little ones

Our 5 and 3 year old just got a Nintendo Switch. It’s their first games console and are somewhat struggling with game controller complexity. The simplest games they have found so far are Mario Kart with auto accelerate enabled and the joy cons in little steering wheel adapters, and Arms with a joy controller in each hand. What games have the most basic controls, or can be enabled like Mario Kart to remove complexity? I’m trying to avoid games with guns - I’m on the fence about Arms but if nothing else it is tiring them out as they windmill around the place punching the air.

Best answer: I've had a lot of fun playing Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime with an almost 3 year old and a 4 year old. It's an up to 4 player co-op game. For the almost 3 year old we had to move their character to their station, and they could take it from there.

Best answer: Kids that age would love the Labo sets. (Mine do.) Sonic Mania has a two-player mode that would work well for them, I think, especially if a grownup were driving.

Best answer: My 4yo likes to play Stardew Valley. There is some reading which we have to do for him, but otherwise he enjoys it. He is not *good* at it, but he enjoys it.

Best answer: Super Mario Odyssey has assist mode that makes it much easier.

Response by poster: Cool - thanks all. Labor Robot kit is going down a treat. Mario Kart seems to be the winner so far though.
