Thinking about Rainlender

Yahoo has just added a new privacy screen before I can get to my calendar which said, in part, its purpose is to protect the developer. I have been thinking about switching to Rainlendar. It's been around for awhile, but seems simple and is very customizable. It goes on the desktop. Can I get it on my phone?
Best answer: What you can do, though, is sync rainlendar to an online calendar like Google Calendar, and then use that service's mobile app.

Have you continued to use the Yahoo/Oath product? Is it continuing to be a problem?
Verizon is a major telecom, perhaps the biggest. They purchased Yahoo and AOL and are merging the operations into a new company called Oath. I doubt there is a huge reason to think there is going to be huge problem anymore than with some other huge IT company. I did have one instance where I was obliged to enter a code sent to my cell phone (Hugely presumptuous that my cell should turn on,or on my person, or that I even own one!). I think that was only to capture my laptop's id. It's back to just accepting my password (supplied by Chrome).
OTOH, I found the changes to Yahoo mail - moving to the all-mail-in-threads format - pretty awful. I'm forever sending messages to myself when I mean to reply. But that was old Yahoo. Oath may make things better or worse.
