Can you name that song with a verse similar to “the milk had soured” in the chorus? Other clues: 1. Indie Pop 2. Female vocal 3. I vauguely recall lots of electronic sounds.

Response by poster: I dig that song too, but the one I'm thinking of is more melodic and the electronics are more "musical" and less "noisy" and the lyrics more "sung".

Also, the lyrics definitely state the "milk had (was, is?) sour (soured?)".

Water Fountain by tUnE-yArDs? No mention of milk but kind of the same rhythm in places as 'the milk had soured' and fits your other criteria.

Funny how quick the milk turns sour is a prominent line in "A Little Time" by The Beautiful South, although not exactly a chorus.
