Need a photographer in New Orleans for 1 day next week, any recommendations?
Irish journalist with 'Sunday Tribune' newspaper coming over to do a piece on NO and needs some shots. Doesn't need to be top professional. Sample work will be requested. Thank you.

Don't want to divert you away from this site, but the place you really want to ask this question is Lightstalkers. You'll likely get somebody lined up for the work in a few hours.
Lightstalkers is a community of professional and student photographers. Almost all are working or soon-to-be photojournalists. Just as the photo industry is, it can be a bit New York-centric, but there are photographers there from just about everywhere, including New Orleans. In fact, you can do a geographic member search at the Lighstalkers member directory. Many photographers have examples of their work loaded on their profile.
You'll need to be a member to post your request, but registration is free.
