Searching for Bookmarked Venues in Yelp

If I want to find a restaurant I previously bookmarked in, say, Akron, the only option seems to be to go to bookmarks view, drag the map to Akron, and blindly hit generically numbered red pins to reveal names until it turns up. If I've bookmarked 40 places, it's an insane task. Is there a better way?

For extra credit, is there any shortcut, when on a given restaurant page, to have Yelp search for places nearby that restaurant? Or do I need to copy/paste the venue address in the search bar?

Use desktop version, not the app.

Go to your list of bookmarked places. You should see a bar where you can sort bookmarks by labels (to try, restaurants, etc.) This assumes you have taken the time to label them as you bookmarked them.

When you go to a restaurant page, on the right scroll down until you see "browse nearby." Hit Show all.

Click on that and look on top for "All filters" There you can search for locations that are within walking distance, driving distance, etc.

Response by poster: Thanks for "browse nearby", to answer my "extra credit" response. But I don't understand what you're suggesting re: labels.

Okay, if you have already bookmarked a place, do this:

Go to your list of bookmarks.
Your list of bookmark will appear and to the right is a pencil icon and a garbage icon.
Click on the pencil icon.
Now you can label that bookmark with a personal note like "Try for lunch"

Also, if you are at your list of bookmarks, look for the bright red BOOKMARKS. Just below that you can sort by different categories like by city, by category (restaurant, shopping, etc.)

Does that help?
