What painting is this?

I'm going to guess it adorned many bars and barbershops in the late 19th century.

I've never seen that before. I love it, thanks!

I don't get it. Was this a real question or an attempt to drive traffic to an advertisement for pt141 or whatever that stuff on the lined site is?

This does look suspicious.

Background on pt-141 for those curious.

The domain's registered to someone in England, for Christ's sake. Not everyone has the good thought to link directly to an image, or host it themselves. The thread should've ended with loquax's remark.

Response by poster: Yes, it was a real question. Yes, my taste in art really is that bad. Yes, I should have linked directly to the jpg. Apologies. More, should you care, can be found here.

mojo, that painting hangs behind my local bar's bar.

ha-ha. pt-141 isn't even for sale yet (and probably won't be for a long time).

The site is one of a large network of drug related sites. There's a main site somewhere, but I don't remember the URL.

They are done by made by some mind-altering enthusiasts, and as far as I can tell don't have any advertisements.
