A book, an opera, a soprano.

Is ther any way that I can get my hands on a CD or recording of the lyric opera staging of Bel Canto?

My mother in law is a big fan of (i) that particular book, (ii) the opera, and (iii) Renee Fleming. Tracking down a copy might even top the time I got her, an opera-loving, feminist, Anglophile, culturally Jewish lady a book about the true story of opera-loving, feminist English ladies who personally saved 29 Jewish people from the Nazis. I got so many daughter-in-law points.

Any thoughts? I've seen the website for the PBS Great Performances broadcast, but the episode isn't available and/or my mother in law would definitely prefer to lie around on the couch and listen to it.

PBS.org has a link to the full performance for subscribers only. This may be a different link than the one you already posted.

Ann Patchett is the proprietor of Parnassus Books; maybe you could contact her store?
