Purse brands that are reminiscent of older Fossil purses

I like purses that have a lot of hardware on them -- over-sized zippers, unnecessary grommets and rivets, obvious clasps. I also like purses that are kind of casual without looking cheap. For 20 years, Fossil always had the right purse for me, but they have changed their designs in the last 3-4 years, and I don't like them any more. Can you recommend BRANDS (not specific purses) that have a similar feeling to older Fossil styles? Links to older Fossil styles I like inside.

I don't like to shop, so I tend to be devoted to brands I like. That's why I'm focused on BRANDS of purses rather than specific purses. I want a brand that can be my "go to" whenever I need a new purse.

Older Fossil purses I like -- these are mostly crossbody, but I always took them to a cobbler and had the strap shortened so I could carry them like satchel: vintage crossbody, revival crossbody, zipper adjustable, hathaway.

New Fossil purses I DON'T like (note the lack of hardware): corey crossbody, kinley crossbody, fiona crossbody.

FWIW, I've seen bags similar to your first link, vintage cross body, with chunky hardware at leathermakers' shops, you know the kind of shop where they sell a lot of handmade belts, smells intensely of leather when you walk in. Do you have one in your town?

Patricia Nash. Or Frye. Or Lucky.

6PM often has affordable styles in these brands.

The Sak might have what you're looking for.

And a second plug for Patricia Nash - the price point is a little high, but I have an Armeno Messenger that gets constant compliments, is in great shape with daily use, and has lasted about 7x longer than any bag I've purchased in the past. It was the best wardrobe investment I've made in years.

Seconding The Sak. If you're on a tighter budget, the brand BOC seems to be inspired by Frye's designs. I think BOC is a sub-brand of Born.

Always Rebecca Minkoff - spendy, but you'll find her stuff on sale, HauteLook, etc. - LOVE the hardware on her bags, and the lack of logo/branding.

I like Rebecca Minkoff too, although the vibe is a little lighter and refined than fossil. She makes lots of functional satchels and cross bodies in different sizes, almost always with lots of zippers, studs, or other decorative hardware. No garish branding, either.

Roots.
A lot of the older styles remind me of these. They have one that looks a lot like your third link.

Some of the Botkier bags seem to fit your criteria - e.g. Logan Hobo

Nthing Rebecca Minkoff. Lots of zippers, studs, or chains but elegantly styled as opposed to garish. I've carried a satchel daily for three years and it's held up gorgeously through a lot of abuse.
