Advice on Replacing Window Grills?

We've lost some of the interior grills on our old windows. We're not replacing them in the near future (why are windows so expensive?), but I'd like to find some way to get the grid look back in our windows. Looking for feedback on options like this (either that one specifically or another one you've tried).

Looks good to me. Measure twice ... I've worked as a window sales person ... good stuff lasts. Plus, you know, install. I'd seriously consider getting those if it'd work in my big slidey windows.

Best answer: Link to DIY permanent or temporary mullions.

Do all of the mullions need replacing? If so, you may be able to change the look of your place by installing a different style.... maybe something craftsman or modern looking if the home's style isn't too traditional.
