Does anybody know if there has ever been a popular cocktail invented in Minnesota?
If so, was it worth a damn?

Well, Neal Murray, now maitre d' at Marche restaurant in Menlo Park, CA claims he created the Cosmopolitan in 1975 while a student at the University of Minnesota. Does that count?
