Dried carob pods in Toronto. Help!

We just got back from a trip to the Middle East, where we really enjoyed munching on dried carob pods as a snack. BUT WE CANNOT FIND THEM HERE AT HOME. Where, oh where, can we find some dried carob pods in Canada?

It looks like they sell them at the Amira Dried Fruit company in Montreal. There are no prices listed but if you phoned them perhaps they could help you out.

Call Marché Adonis, they might carry it.

Sounds like a trip to Lawrence East or Thornhill is in order. I can't locate the exact products on their websites, but: Adonis (Warden & Eglinton, also Mississauga), Arz (Lawrence & Pharmacy, also inside a Loblaw in Oakville) and Tavazo (Thornhill).

Best answer: Yep, they have 'em at Adonis (20 Ashtonbee). Just checked while I was getting delicious hummus & pita for dinner om nom nom

Response by poster: Adonis is my new saviour. What a wonderful place. Going to gain at least 10 pounds after my next trip there!
