Removable adhesive to connect a small wooden ledge to outdoor cottage-cheese-looking walls?

AdhesiveFilter: I'm looking for an adhesive to connect a small wooden ledge to outdoor cottage-cheese-looking walls. It must be strong enough to support a small (1-2 flower) flower vase in addition to the ledge, and it must be removable without any damage to the walls.

I was thinking 3m command adhesive, but I wasn't sure if it would be strong enough given the uneven surface those sorts of outdoor walls have.

I haven't tried Quake Putty outside, but it'd be a cheap and safe experiment, I think.

Whatever you use, I suggest testing the ledge first with something that weighs the same as the vase but isn't breakable (assuming the vase is) in case of adhesive failure.

Those cottage cheesey walls sound like stucco. If the shelf + vase weigh less than 5lbs, you could use Scotch Exterior Mounting Tape. For removing, a guy on this forum talks about removing it with GooGone.

I'd actually worry less about the adhesive failing than it pulling the stucco loose from the wall. Stucco is just pasted on the underlying wall, and I don't think it's known for being hard to pull off. Assuming that cottage-cheese-looking is stucco.
