number of rent-controlled units in Berkeley, CA?

Can Mefites help me find how many rent controlled units there are one year to the next in Berkeley, CA? I thought it would be simple to find this information but I have been looking for four days. Would help tons!

There are a lot of factors when it comes to whether or not a property falls under full or partial rent control. You can do an individual property search here, so this tells me that there is a database. I'm not sure they track metadata by year, but you might be able to request specialized queries if you call the Rent Stabilization Board:
