Logistics for "watching" the World Series outside of Wrigley Field

Going to Chicago to be with the crowd outside of Wrigley Field during the World Series games this weekend. Three adult males and three teen boys. What do I need to know to make this as awesome an experience as possible.
We will be in town for Friday and Saturday night games - staying at a hotel downtown - and no tickets to the game of course, so just plan to hang with crowd outside Wrigley. Will there be a way to watch the game outside? What can we or can't we bring with us? Any other things we need to know? thanks

Teenagers most likely will not be allowed in to the bars surrounding Wrigley. Someone might come in here to prove me wrong (sometimes if they have food kids are allowed) but bars are typically 21+ entry.

Oh my gosh this sounds like a literal nightmare.
-there is no screen showing the game outside
-prepare for 10x rideshare peak charges & public transit calamity
-you know you're planning to drop into a literal full scale riot for fun, right?

I was there this past weekend, there were people in the Home Run Inn on Sheffield (and other Lakeview restaurants) watching the game. Since it's more of a restaurant maybe you'd be ok with under 21? Plus, pizza. I believe you can make a reservation, and Wrigley is just a few blocks away if you want to join the party in the streets. Have fun!

I lived in Chicago for 10+ years and my understanding from friends is that the area around Wrigley was pretty heavily cordoned off and restricted during the LCS. There are tons of bars around there that will be playing it, but a lot of them were charging covers (which they don't usually do) - the one directly across the street from Wrigley, The Cubby Bear, had a $100 cover. They're all going to be ridiculously packed. But yes, it is possible. They don't play the game on a screen outside or anything like that; Wrigley is smack dab in the middle of the city at a tiny intersection, so there isn't anywhere to put people.
From downtown, you can take the Red Line north to Addison, which lets you off right outside of Wrigley. I'd bring as little as possible - with that many people, security will be tight, pickpocketing may occur, and you won't want to be lugging anything around because everyone will be packed in like sardines.
