Name that mid-eighties DOS game

What is this? Mid-late eighties DOS game. In space or underwater. Little submarine or spaceship guy, cruising around a platform/maze type environment. There are teleports with codes to move between some areas. x

Purple/blue/white/black colour palette. (similar palette to Alley Cat which I also played at my friend's place at the same time, along with Captain Comic)

Any chance it's some form of Commander Keen game? Or anything else by Apogee?

Response by poster: I don't think so. It was a lot more... basic.

Hmm, CGA graphics... a maze... I don't recall if it had transports or not, but could it be Shamus?

If not, if the game was a popular enough you might find it over at http://www.the-underdogs.org/.

Actualy, all DOS games at the time had that pallate. I'm not sure what kind of crack the people at IBM were thinking when they came up with that system.

Commander Keen had both the spiffy latest version as well as a corny/dinky version where the effects were strictly PC-speaker and a pixelated man. There was also a side scroller Duke Nukem version, but it had pretty graphics, not those nasty EGA colors (which always seemed about 1 short step up from monochrome).

Possibly one from this list, or that list?

Best answer: Not StarQuake is it?

You're a guy who has to wander around a planet, avoiding enemies and collecting parts for your spaceship. The part about teleports requiring codes jogged my memory.

(Wased my life from ages 9 to 11 playing this game)
