NameMe Bowling Edition

My colleagues and I will be bowling together in a tournament. I found out today that they want us all to have nicknames to print on our shirts. Specifications inside.

Our team name is "Three Strikes, You're In". So I'd like to find something that fits into a baseball theme or something close. The only thing I've come up with so far is "short stop" because I am short. My team is all women if that matters. My workplace is pretty uptight, so nothing too risque. I work in biotech if you want to run with that. I know how good y'all are at this. Name me!

Shortstop sounds pretty good to me. Fwiw, there was a great shortstop named and nicknamed, Pee Wee Reese

Hot corner (third base)
Balk
Full Count
Chin music (high and tight pitch you have to dodge to avoid taking it on the chin)
HBP (hit by pitch)
Cut-off man
Human Rain Delay (someone who takes a long time fidgeting hen they come to the plate)
A backwards K is the symbol for strike in baseball scorekeeping, so that'd be clever and punny

I also like Sunburnt's mention of pitch types as a cool nickname theme for each member: Fastball, Knuckleball, Screwball, Curveball, Gyroball etc because then you could pretend like you've developed some crazy spin coming out from your bowling throw (e.g. "here come's the knuckleball" when trying for a 7-10 split).

Bloomer, in honor of the Bloomer Girls -- the first women's teams, dating back to the 1890s. They often played against men and won.

Kaye (K represents a strike thrown in baseball, and strikes are good in bowling).

Otherwise I think Knuckleball or Slider sound good for nicknames.

Best answer: if your first name is Erin as your profile suggests, how about "Hank Erin"

Upon reflection, I'd change my above suggestion to "Shoeless Jo", which I think is an awesome bowling team nickname, even if your actual name is absolutely nothing like "Jo".
