Beanie Boo Birthday

Crowd-sourcing a Beanie Boo Birthday party for a 2nd grader. What should we do/make/eat?
My soon-to-be 8 year old has requested a Beanie Boo-themed birthday party. We'll have the party at home and I expect about a dozen kids (mostly girls but a few boys) for about 3 hours. We've already determined that for one activity, each child receives a small Beanie Boo (Buckwheat - a brown spotted lynx) and we'll make birthday hats for them out of cardstock and various trimmings. What else would be fun? Pin-the-tail on the Beanie Boo? Beanie Boo Bingo? Is there some other major fun thing that I can surprise her with?
We'll probably have pizza and cake but any other themed snacks would be welcome.
I'm moderately crafty but not hugely so and my time is limited.

Response by poster: Yes, I think the eyes are the defining feature. I love your photobooth idea!

They sell hard candy eyes for cake decorating...let the kids decorate their own beanie boo cupcakes? Maybe have them draw pix of the different characters from a hat and make it like a pictionary game?

If so, I'd do an activity with each kid where they get to choose from a selection of exaggerated eyes (looks like that would be an easy to make out of construction paper) on Popsicle sticks. They can hold them up in front of their eyes photo-booth-prop style and you'll take their photo. Then, you can print them later & send them with thank you cards.
Or pin the eyes on the Beanie Boo!
