When can I get my license back

I lost my license to a medical suspense when I lived in Virginia. I currently live in Colorado. Which state laws do I have to follow?

I lost the licesense to, like I said, a medical suspense because of epilepsy that was not well controlled at all. Virginia laws state you must go 6 months without blackout or seizure, I couldn't go more than a couple of weeks no matter the combo of medicine or dr.

Fast forward a couple of years I know live in Colorado, and a dr has managed to control my seizures. I'm now on to month 2 without any blackouts or seizures. Colorado law is much less clear, basically saying you need to be well controlled. My dr says he wouldn't feel comfortable with me driving again until I hit 3 months without any seizures, which seems reasonable.

The question is, since my license was suspended in VA do I need to wait for 6 months and then go through the VA process to get it cleared? Then get a CO license.
Or can once my dr feels ok with me driving again, skip directly to paying to reinstate fine and get a new shiny CO?

Many states share this information and treat suspensions from one state as a suspension in their state.
Colorado and Virginia belong to this Compact.

Since you now live in CO, it seems unlikely that you would even qualify to reactivate your VA license.
