Books similar to "Nextinction"?

I recently bought Ralph Steadman/Ceri Levy's book "Nextinction" and I think it's absolutely fantastic. Now I'd like to read books that come from the same place as "Nextinction".
I love how "Nextinction" tackles its incredibly serious topic (such a different approach!) and I love that it's also an art book. It made me laugh with tears in my eyes. It made me think and it made me want to do something ... and I learned a lot reading it. So what I'm looking for are books that are:
1) Environmentalist (preferably somewhat cautiously optimistic, but that's not a requirement)
2) Heavily illustrated (comics are, of course, fine)
3) Original/different (either in subject matter or in the way it approaches its subject)
4) In English or Swedish
5) Fairly recent (ie published in the last few years, but if you know of an older book that still holds up - please feel free to share!)
I've read Symbolia's End of the Line issue, Steadman/Levy's "Extinct Boids" and the Swedish anthology "Jag vill inte göra slut" and they all fulfill my requirements. But where do I go from here?
